New Fall's Around The Corner Halloween Tree!!!
Hi Everyone, Today I have been working on a new halloween tree. Halloween will be here before we know it. Tomorrow is the last day of August and my youngest son's birthday. Happy Birthday Michael!!!
The new tree I made today is an 18 inch tree in a box that measures 6 ½ x 6 1/2 x 5 inches. On the front of the box I painted a grouping of a Boo cat, a Corn Moon Face, and a Pumpkin Butter Pantry Jar. The Boo Cat has a little bit of sparkle. This is part of a Terrye French design. The 18 inch tree has a string of 50 clear lights and a shinny oak leaf garland. On the tree I hand painted glittery wooden Jack o Lanterns, glittery cats, witch hats, bats, and a wooden tag with a cat. Also on the tree is a felt hand stitched cat face. Included on the tree is a paper mache witch face, ghost, and a small round Jack O Lantern. Scattered around the tree are black and orange glittery balls which I glued on. At the top of the tree is a rusty boo sign which I painted and of course is sprinkled with a little glitter. At the top of the tree I hand painted a moon face on a rusty star. The entire tree measures 24 inches tall. This would make a great country touch to your Halloween decorating. I will be listing it on Ebay. Thanks for stopping by!!!

New Starlight Pumpkins Halloween Tree
Today I was working on one of my larger halloween trees. I painted a large wooden box that measures 8 x 8 x 7 inches. I base coated the box with black. I painted a night scene with saltbox houses and a pumpkin garden. In the background is the moon and the swirling Milky Way. The Milky Way is sprinkled with a touch of glitter to give it a more dramatic effect. This is a Terrye French design. Inside the box is a 24 inch tree with a string of 50 clear lights and a maple leaf garland. On the tree are hand painted wooden pumpkins that have a touch of glitter, cats, and witch hats. In the middle of the tree is a paper mache Jack O Lantern with a long black hat. There is a ghost, a cat face, a pumpkin face, two small round Jack O Lantern pumpkins, and a large round pumpkin with a rusty leaf. Scattered around the tree are frosted and shiny orange and black glass balls. Towards the top of the tree is a rusty clip on tea light holder with a burgundy tea light and a small wooden sign that says Pumpkins. At the very top of the tree is a rusty star and a pumpkin fabric bow. The entire tree measures 30 inches tall. This would be stunning as a centerpiece on your table or a great eye catching decoration for your entry way. I will be listing it on ebay today. Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Hand Painted Witch Hats
The Witch Is In!!! I have been painting witch hats today. My family said I should paint one for myself !! Aren't they funny!! NOT. I base coated the hat with black and painted a design from Terrye French's book Thyme To Paint. There is a crow pie, stacked pumpkin pull toy, a scarecrow face, horn of plenty, and a pumpkin. On the rim of the hat I painted a green vine with orange berries. I also painted some stars at the top of the hat. This is a great prim Fall decoration. You could used it as a centerpiece on your table. Place some pumpkins around it with some Autumn leaves. Or you could just set it on a shelf. They are listed on Ebay for $26.50 each. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!!!
