Happy Easter!!

Happy Easter to all my wonderful friends and followers!! Spending the day with family and making a big dinner. Its my grandsons first Easter. He is only 8 months old but grandma has an Easter egg hunt planned for him. It will be fun. Have a great day!!!!!

Blog Update!!!!!!

Hi Everyone!! It's been a very long time since I posted anything on my blog. Babysitting three days a week has been a lot more time consuming than I thought. There is a reason you have children when your young. I thought I would have no problem taking care of him and getting my painting done. Well by the time he is picked up I'm ready for bed!!! Of course we love him dearly and wouldn't have it any other way. So I have to take advantage of the the days he is not here and get more organized. I was able to work on a tree this week. It's a new design by Terrye French and Martha Smalley from Painting With Friends. It was so much fun to paint.I'm hoping I can get more painting done this week. Well it's good to be back. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter!!!!

Seasonal Trees!!

Santa's Cookies Tree!!!!

Hi Everyone!! I hope this post finds ever one well and not to wet from hurricane Sandy. My family is all in New Jersey so I hope everything goes well for them. Here where I live in Southern California we are still experiencing summer whether. It's 90 degrees today and I have to say I'm tired of it. Last week it cooled down and we took our grandson to the pumpkin patch for the first time. Now we are back in shorts:(. I was able to get a Santa tree done today and it's called Santa's Cookies. The tree measures  25 1/2 inches tall. Its loaded with ornaments and a faux popcorn garland. The painting on the front is a design by Terrye French. Pumpkin Pancakes Tree

Hi Everyone!!! It's been a long time since I posted. I have been under the whether for a few weeks. I'm feeling a lot better now and I'm ready to get painting. I'm also babysitting my new grandson three days a week. I started last week and boy does that tire me out. I'm so glad I had my children when I was young. I'm lucky thou because my husband is retired and he is here to help me so I can still work. I just have to make sure I get a lot of painting done on the days I don't have him. I did finally get a Fall tree done today. It's called Pumpkin Pancakes. It's a pattern from Painting with Friends. Design by Terrye French and painting by Martha Smalley. Fall Tree

Hi everyone!! I finally got some time to make another tree. I have been spending a lot of time with my daughter and my new Grandson before she has to go back to work. We are having so much fun watching him grow. It's our first Grandchild so you can just imagine. So yesterday I sat and painted an original design for my Fall tree. I love to paint saltbox houses. New Falloween Tree!!

Hi, Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I can't believe it's September. Now it all begins and I don't know where to start. I just finished painting a design for Terrye French call Falloween. It will be coming out soon at Painting with friends blog. So when I finished painting the design I decided to make a tree with it. This is a 24 inch tree with lots of Fall goodies on it. This could be displayed now through Thanksgiving. I already decorated for Halloween at my house. My family thought it was to soon. I hate to say this but I still had my July 4th decorations up. So I thought it was time. Anyway I use all my decorations as props for my pictures. Well it's back to work for me. Stay cool and I'll talk to you all soon:)
