I worked on some more Halloween Trees today. This one is called Tricks and Treats. I sprinkled the box and some of the ornaments with glitter. I like using glitter on the trees because it looks so pretty at night with the lights on. Well have a great evening and thanks for stopping by!!!!
I tried to post this last night but the blog was having some problems. I needed a break from Halloween yesterday and decided to do one of my kitchen trees. This tree is in an enamel bowl with red trim and a handle. I found this in a local antique store. I make the little gingerbread men out of salt dough. I shouldn't say I make, my sister makes them for me and I paint them. There are lots of different goodies on this one. It already sold but I will be making more. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day!!!
Poor Fiona~~~~~~ She has lost her shoe! She has been cursed. The kind moon is blowing a gust of the chilled moon lit air. He knows of her fate and is helping her along her journey. Flying over the hill sides looking for her shoe. Lots of colorful fall leaves have fallen over the colorful countryside and frosty pumpkins line the fences---- still she flies into the night searching and searching forever for her shoe---- poor, poor Fiona!!
For sale is this Halloween tree Fiona’s Curse!! I base coated the wooden box in black. The box measures 6 ½ x 6 ½ x 5 ½ inches. On the front I painted Fiona the witch looking for her lost shoe. This is a Terrye French design. Inside the box is an 18 inch tree. On the tree is a string of 50 clear lights and autumn berry sprigs. There are hand painted wooden tags with witches shoes, witch hats, and wooden pumpkin heads. All sprinkled with glamour dust. Also on the tree are paper mache witches, cats, and a witch face. There are witch brooms, mesh witch hats with orange trim, and orange and purple glass balls scattered around the tree. At the top of the tree is a Halloween bow and a rusty star. The entire tree measures 22 inches tall. Thanks for stopping by to take a look!!! I'll be posting this on Ebay.

Hi Everyone. I haven't posted in a while. I have been working on special orders. I finally got those done and worked on a tree for ebay. I painted a friendly little witch on a rusty metal pail. The pail measures 6 ½ inches in diameter and is 5 inches tall. I sprinkled the entire pail with a colorful glitter. In the pail is a 18 inch tree with a string of 50 clear lights and autumn berry picks. On the tree are hand painted wooden Jack O Lanterns, cats, witch hats, bats and a glittery little sign that says The Witch Is In. Also included on the tree is a paper mache witch, ghost, pumpkin with a hat, and a witch face. There are small witch’s brooms scattered around the tree. At the top is a fabric pumpkin bow and a hand painted Jack O lantern. The entire tree measures 21 ½ inches tall. The witch hat sitting on top of the pumpkin in the display is in another auction.
I hope to get started soon on my Christmas trees but Halloween has been keeping me quite busy. I finally decorated the house for fall. I like to decorate right away because it's all over before you know it. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!!!!
